How Integral Blinds Work
BetweenGlassBlinds™ place 1/2-inch Venetian blind slats inside a sealed glass unit, providing adjustable privacy and observation control without exposed cords, slats, or fabric treatments.
Manual configurations use an exterior magnetic control to adjust the enclosed blinds without penetrating the glass. Motorized configurations operate electrically using a remote control.

Manual Control Placement
Manual controls may be positioned on the left or right side of the frame and at the top, middle, or bottom. Dual control is available when operation is required from both sides of the glass.

BetweenGlassBlinds™ is an integrated blind system sealed within an insulating glass unit. It provides privacy and ight control without exposed blind surfaces.
Which blind configurations are available?
Available configurations include tilt-only, tilt-and-lift, and motorized blinds. The right option depends on the desired movement, control method, and opening size.
What is the difference between tilt-only and tilt-and-lift?
Tilt-only changes the angle of the blind slats. Tilt-and-lift also raises or lowers the blind to open or cover more of the glazed area.
How are the blinds operated?
Depending on the configuration, the blind may use a manual knob, magnetic slider, remote control, or supported integrated controls.
Can BetweenGlassBlinds™ be used with specialty glazing?
Multiple glass and glazing options are available, including fire-rated, impact-resistant, bullet-resistant, lead, low-E, polycarbonate, and other specialized constructions. PGS should confirm compatibility for the specific opening and performance requirement.
Can multiple motorized units operate together?
Yes. Motorized units can be coordinated for supported individual or group operation. PGS can help determine the appropriate control approach for the project.
What colors are available?
Six standard blind colors are available: white, grey, beige, brown, silver, and black. However, motorized units are only available in white.
Can the blinds be operated from both sides of the glass?
Yes. Dual manual controls are available for applications that require operation from both sides. Control location and compatibility should be confirmed during project planning.
How are BetweenGlassBlinds™ cleaned?
The exterior glass and controls can be cleaned with ordinary non-abrasive glass cleaners, mild soap, or detergent diluted with water and a soft cloth. The enclosed blinds do not require routine cleaning.
What warranty is included?
BetweenGlassBlinds™ is covered by the applicable PGS limited warranty. Review the current warranty document for coverage, conditions, exclusions, and claim requirements.
