DecoGlass® applies patterns, gradients, custom colors, detailed graphics, and photographic imagery to architectural glass. Ceramic inks are permanently fused to the glass during tempering.
Key Benefits
Ceramic inks fuse to the glass during tempering for a durable finish
Patterns, gradients, custom colors, graphics, and photographic imagery
Adjust ink coverage to balance transparency, privacy, and visual impact
Coordinate artwork, glass, and panel dimensions for the application
Ceramic Printing Process
Establish the appearance, coverage goal, viewing conditions, and glass requirements.
Provide production-ready artwork or coordinate scale, placement, color, resolution, and panel alignment with PGS.
Review a physical sample under representative lighting and viewing conditions.
Confirm glass type, thickness, dimensions, edges, holes, notches, orientation, and print surface.
PGS prints the ceramic ink, tempers the glass to fuse the design permanently, and inspects the finished panels.
Design Capabilities
Note: Final color, opacity, and appearance vary with the artwork, ink coverage, glass type, and viewing conditions. Approve a physical sample before production.
Applications
Solid Color Options
Digital ceramic printing can also create solid fields of color for wall panels, feature surfaces, casework, signage, and other applications requiring a uniform or coordinated appearance.
Final color can be affected by the glass type, ink coverage, opacity, lighting, and viewing conditions. A physical sample should be approved before production.
PGS Project Support
Ceramic digital printing can produce patterns, gradients, custom colors, detailed graphics, photographic imagery, branding, and wayfinding elements.
PGS coordinates artwork and project samples so the design team can review color, coverage, scale, and overall appearance before production.
Vector files are generally preferred for patterns, logos, linework, and text. High-resolution raster files may be used for photographs or detailed imagery. PGS will confirm the approved file format, resolution, color information, scale, and panel layout before production.
