DecoGlass® applies patterns, gradients, graphics, imagery, and solid color to architectural glass through ceramic and UV-cured digital printing.
Key Benefits
Select ceramic or UV-cured printing based on the project requirements.
Patterns, gradients, custom colors, graphics, and photographic imagery
Control color, opacity, density, scale, and placement.
Coordinate designs across individual or multiple glass panels.
PRINTING PROCESSES
Ceramic ink is digitally applied to the glass and permanently fused to the surface during tempering. This process creates a durable printed finish for demanding architectural applications.
Process: Prepare artwork → Print with ceramic ink → Temper and fuse
UV-cured ink is digitally applied and cured using ultraviolet light. This process supports high-resolution, full-color designs with adjustable opacity and ink density.
Process: Prepare artwork → Print with UV-curable ink → Cure with ultraviolet light
Design Capabilities
Note: Final color, opacity, and appearance vary with the artwork, ink coverage, glass type, and viewing conditions. Approve a physical sample before production.
Applications
Color Options
DecoGlass offers custom solid colors, gradients, and coordinated finishes through digitally printed and back-painted options. Custom colors and RAL matching can support surrounding materials, interior palettes, and brand standards.
Final appearance can vary with the selected process, glass type, ink coverage, opacity, lighting, and viewing conditions. Approval samples are available and recommended before production.
PGS Project Support
PGS coordinates artwork and project samples so the design team can review color, coverage, scale, and overall appearance before production.
Vector files are generally preferred for patterns, logos, linework, and text. High-resolution raster files may be used for photographs or detailed imagery. PGS will confirm the approved file format, resolution, color information, scale, and panel layout before production.
