Two Methods for Different Project Needs

Ceramic Digital Printing

Ceramic ink is digitally applied to the glass and permanently fused to the surface during tempering. This process creates a durable printed finish for demanding architectural applications.

DecoGlass offers custom solid colors, gradients, and coordinated finishes through digitally printed and back-painted options. Custom colors and RAL matching can support surrounding materials, interior palettes, and brand standards.

Final appearance can vary with the selected process, glass type, ink coverage, opacity, lighting, and viewing conditions. Approval samples are available and recommended before production.

DecoGlass Printing FAQs

Digital ceramic printing applies artwork directly to glass using ceramic inks. During tempering, the ink fuses permanently to the glass surface to create a durable architectural finish.
UV inks cure on the glass surface using ultraviolet light. Ceramic inks are heat-treated and fused to the glass during tempering, creating a more permanent finish intended for architectural durability.
Yes. Pattern scale, spacing, gradients, and ink coverage can be adjusted to obscure views or create different levels of visual screening. The design should be evaluated against the project’s actual privacy requirement.
DecoGlass can produce patterns, gradients, custom colors, detailed graphics, photographic imagery, branding, wayfinding elements, and solid-color coverage.
Yes. Detailed graphics, custom artwork, and photographic imagery can be reproduced when the source file, glass selection, color treatment, and print coverage are appropriate for the intended result.
Not necessarily. Glass composition, ink coverage, lighting, viewing side, and digital displays can affect perceived color. A physical sample is recommended when color accuracy is important.

PGS coordinates artwork and project samples so the design team can review color, coverage, scale, and overall appearance before production.

Yes. Multi-panel designs can be coordinated, but accurate glass dimensions, panel orientation, fabrication details, print placement, and installation sequence must be established early.

Vector files are generally preferred for patterns, logos, linework, and text. High-resolution raster files may be used for photographs or detailed imagery. PGS will confirm the approved file format, resolution, color information, scale, and panel layout before production.

Final cutting, drilling, notching, and edgework should be completed before tempering. Tempered glass generally cannot be cut or altered afterward.
