VISTAMATIC’s Year in Review – 2015

2015 was an exciting year for VISTAMATIC, now part of Privacy Glass Solutions. We continued our mission to help hospitals and healthcare facilities protect patient privacy through innovative glass technology. Here’s a look at some of the year’s key highlights—and what we’re looking forward to in 2016.

1. Rutland Regional Medical Center

Early in the year, we worked with Rutland Regional Medical Center, the second-largest hospital in Vermont. Known for their strong environmental mission—“To be the Best Community Healthcare System in New England”—the hospital installed our Privacy Glass Vision Panels with key-locking knobs in patient rooms and other care areas. These panels support both safety and comfort for patients and staff.

2. National Media Highlights

Our products received media attention across the country. Fox News Memphis featured our privacy glass during the grand opening of the expanded Methodist University Hospital Emergency Department. We were also featured by ABC News Dallas at Parkland Hospital and again during the Saratoga Hospital ICU expansion. We’re grateful to these hospitals for choosing VISTAMATIC as their privacy glass provider.

3. Major Facility Expansion

In 2015, we moved into a new 15,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Coral Springs, Florida. This upgrade included a new showroom designed for architects, interior designers, and facility managers. The space allows visitors to experience the full range of our vision panels and BetweenGlassBlinds™ systems in action. We also invested heavily in R&D to develop even more advanced privacy glass solutions tailored to clinical observation needs.

4. Thought Leadership and Research

Throughout the year, we published educational blog content to help guide the industry. Topics included “The 3 Elements to Consider When Designing a Hybrid Operating Room” and “What Issues Keep Healthcare Providers and Designers Up at Night?” These insights reflected the questions and concerns our clients shared with us and guided our product development process.

Looking Ahead to 2016
