A Local Project with Global Standards

VISTAMATIC® is excited to share its role in the launch of the new De George Pediatric Unit at Jupiter Medical Center. This world-class pediatric facility is a major advancement in children’s healthcare. As part of the project, VISTAMATIC provided both Vista-Max privacy glass solutions and Vista-Max XL full-door systems.

Designed for Comfort, Healing, and Innovation

The De George Pediatric Unit offers more than just high-quality medical care. It features 12 private inpatient rooms, two modern pediatric surgery suites, and dedicated therapeutic areas. Additionally, the unit includes a bright playroom for children and a quiet rest space known as the “Bear’s Den.” The room’s name honors Jack Nicklaus, famously known as the “Golden Bear.”

A certified Child Life Specialist also supports the unit. Their role is to help young patients cope with stress and fear during their hospital stay. This approach ensures emotional well-being is part of the healing process.

Collaboration That Delivers Results

This project brought together local pediatricians, Jupiter Medical Center, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Their joint effort focused on implementing the highest clinical standards. As a result, the new unit meets the growing demand for pediatric services with excellence and compassion.
