Privacy Glass Solutions Launches HUEE Dynamic Glazing
Four selectable modes bring daylight management, solar shading, privacy, and blackout together in one dynamic glass unit.
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., Oct. 20, 2026 — Privacy Glass Solutions announces the launch of HUEE Dynamic Glazing, now available to order. HUEE combines variable solar shading and instant privacy in a dual-active insulated glass unit, giving architects and project teams four selectable modes to address changing light and privacy needs.
A conference room may need daylight for everyday work, glare control as sunlight changes, and visual privacy for a meeting. A hotel guest room may require views, privacy, and blackout at different times. HUEE brings these functions into a single glazing system without secondary window coverings.
“With four distinct glass states, clear, tinted, privacy, and fully opaque, HUEE offers a new level of versatility and control in glass technology,” said Kevin Roth, founder and CEO of Privacy Glass Solutions.
HUEE independently controls solar-control and privacy films within the glazing system. Their combined states create four modes:
- Clear: Preserves daylight and views.
- SunControl: Provides tint for solar heat and glare reduction.
- Privacy: Creates visual privacy while admitting diffused light.
- Shade: Provides blackout and maximum solar control.
“The main technical challenge behind developing HUEE was eliminating the compromise between thermal insulation, daylight management, and privacy,” said Xianli (Valerie) Wang, Ph.D., R&D director and materials scientist at Privacy Glass Solutions.
HUEE can be configured for compatible exterior glazing applications, including facades, curtain walls, windows, and glazed doors, as well as interior partitions. Applications include commercial, institutional, hospitality, and residential projects.
Panels can operate individually or in coordinated zones, with control options that include wall presets, programmed schedules, and supported building management system interfaces.
